Winter Time
Red orange leaves of the trees
Blown by the wind, now scattered on the ground
Beautiful scenery of snow covered mountain
Seen only on winter time.
Softly falling raindrops
Even when the sun is peeking over the mountain
I dreams of these
Every winter time comes
Merry Christmas everyone
May you and your family have a blessed Christmas season
and a prosperous New Year ahaed

How Can You Measure Life’s Success?
Sitting infront of my PC monitor thinking how can I create a Use Case Diagram and wondering if I can finish it on time for the submission on Tuesday, I am distracted with this question: How Can You Measure Success?
Where did thought came from? It must be from the activities these past days. With all the crammings and worryings and late night sleeps, it seems my mind is filled with so many questions and uncertainties that nothing is retained. There’s just to many buts and ifs. Then, my mind goes blank that sleep is just the best solution.
So, did you ever find the time to sit down and think how successful are you now? In what ways can you consider yourself successful? If you are asked this question, how will you answer it?
Let us see how some people may measure their life’s success.
- number of friends you party with
- number of houses you acquired
- number of cars that are parked in your garage
- the amount you have saved in the bank
- number of times you travel with the family
- number of hours you work in a day or in a week
- number of digits you earn each month
- number of times you dine in an expensive restaurant
These are mostly numerical and simply put as measured based on fame and fortune? How about
- the look on your child’s face when you play with him
- feeling of contentment when you lay down to sleep
- the happy banter during eating time
- watching TV together with the family
- co-workers encouragement to keep on trying
- feeling of satisfaction for a job well done
Which one will matter most to you at the end of the day?
By the way, I really don’t like the layout of my new keyboard. The Fn key is on the left of the Ctrl that it is too awkward when using the Ctrl-V, Ctrl-C, and Ctrl-A since I am used to the keyboard with the Ctrl key on the left most position. The Del and arrow keys are located below the Shift and Enter keys that I need to look at the keyboard everytime I need to use the said keys. To think that I can type faster when not looking at the keyboard, I felt my success in encoding is hampered with this new keyboard. So, should I continue using it since it is new and get used to it or buy a new one?

Hello from phExchanger!
Welcome to the blog of phExchanger. Get an inner glimpse of my mind’s working.
I’ve done about 10 or more entries before this date but due to impatience, carelessness in design and with lack of knowledge, I had accidentally deleted the no-backup database. Well, I do not have a backup yet since there were too few entries and most are in private for editing before publishing.
So here I am, starting again.
I hope you’ll learn or gain something from reading my entries. I hope you’ll share yours too through your comments.
